I’m relieved that I was only charged $4, as I immediately smsed STOP to halt the service.
Two actions that can be done: write in to complain or spread the warning.
Based on a computation of financial loss suffered vs time spent, I decided to just spread the warning instead of pursuing the matter with CASE or the local newspapers.
Got better (and also more economically productive) things to do.
